  2. of course you can also do the following (I use it to transfer large files
  3. from my sun at work to my pc at home).

  5. uuencode the file. the uuencoded file is just a text file which you can
  6. easily split in pieces. If necessary compress each piece with pkzip or
  7. whatever. put each piece on a disk. go home. load each disk, [unzip], append
  8. and uudecode. Messy but it works. BTW. as far as I know, there is no
  9. compression program that lets me use multiple disks on my sun...
